time for a vote!

All right, internet.  The big day is fast approaching.  Tuesday, September 8.  The day Melrose Place part two premieres!  Oh, and there's something else: it's the day of my 16 week ultrasound, the day Dr. S tells us whether the tradition of testosterone will continue at our house (boy husband, boy baby, boy dog, boy cat, another boy cat) ... or whether we're about to go broke buying pink everything.

Look to the right, see the poll, and rock your vote!  And stay tuned for the answer sometime late Tuesday.  Assuming, of course, that Bumblebee will be cooperative.  No worries, I've got a few PB cups packed in my purse in case I get hungry on the drive to the office need to wake Bumblebee up to get the money shot.

(And the goat option is just for my dear dad and his contagiously warpo sense of humor.)

I think you may just be getting our hopes up -- I'm surprised that they're doing an u/s at 16w. Happy, but surprised. Are they going to do another growth u/s in November? Anyway, I voted boy. 'Cause that is what I want you to have. =)

I found out with Joseph at 15 weeks (didn't you find out early with A too!). No doubts you will know after Tuesday! I can't vote yet...I need today to think about it. I am very torn at the moment.

Thanks for the votes so far! I figured team pink would take the lead!

Monica, my doctor is well known for his 16 week "gender u/s". He's pretty confident- the joke is that college education is on him if he's wrong. So, I sort of hope he's wrong. ;) He knew without a doubt about Anderson at 15w6d. And yes, the "big u/s" is done later on at 24 weeks. I think that's why he does this early u/s- since the anatomy scan is later than usual, he needs to offer something to keep us sane in the meantime!

I'm thinking PINK! A needs a little sister and Livi needs a playmate.

I voted for girl. But, I kind of have a feeling it is a boy. It is so exciting... I am sure you won't be able to sleep tonight. To me, finding out whether I was having a boy or girl was the MOST exciting part of the whole pregnancy. I can't wait to read your blog tomorrow!!! :-)

kennedyeatworld- it's from cafepress.com. Highly recommended! Inexpensive and shipped really quickly.

Someone retracted their goat vote.

I'm going on the record and saying I witnessed the expression of the goat vote!

I'm going with girl only to mix it up, you need a female in your house :) Another little boy would be just as fantastic though!

I just want to put it out there that I think it's a boy. Minutes before you tell us all. Or at least it better be minutes, this waiting is driving me nuts!
